    What lenses you use with your BMCC 6K PRO? Which lenses would you recommend for uses cases similar to yours?

    • @topicruben
      @topicruben 2 дні тому

      Good question! This camera truly shines when you use cinema lenses. At the time when I shot this video I was using Samyang cinema lenses. They are not the best (they are maybe the cheapest, lol), but they are manual and I like that. I, however, sold them (you can check the video about it). It depends on what you want to do with the camera: videos for YT, documentaries, short films, feature films.... something pretty neutral would be Sigma (18-35mm f1.8)

    • @davidyisrael403
      @davidyisrael403 2 дні тому

      @@topicruben Thank you. I use-case for the camera is: talking head style videos (like most of your YT vids), interviews, and small 50 people conferences. So I need a zoom lens that versatile for such flexible use cases. I am considering the sigma 18-35 f1.8, but not sure if the zoom would be enough in the small conference scenario when the camera would need to be at the back and need to zoom to the presenter-speaker from that distance. Any thoughts and other lens recommendations?

    With the new update, when you remove the battery for some time, it forgets some settings. Especially the sensor settings. You might put it to use full 6k sensor,but when you turn it on again later it has returned it to a lower sensor setting

    I believe it is true that there is great power in the tantric sex exercises. This energy is being very badly wasted by most people, as western society has lost focus with the important, many times because of a rushed lifestyle. I believe we're also trained toward a materialistic, "hedonistic" lifestyle, where our value is determined by salary or position, not worth as a person with integrity, honesty, sincerity. You impressed me to be one person who desired to help others as much as you could, be careful of getting resentful.

      Hi there. I don’t know the Studio 4K, but the only thing I see from that situation is the iris at 5; I would’ve had it more open to let more light come to the sensor, but I don’t know why so much noise?!

    Did you crop in post to avoid the vignetting from the aps-c lens (Sigma 18-35)?

    • @topicruben
      @topicruben 16 днів тому

      I couldn’t film at 18mm as you can imagine. I shot at 35, but in the process I accidentally moved the zoom while I was pulling focus and a few times went below 35mm and so I got vignette. In those cases yes, I cropped it in post. I recently got the Canon 24-105mm f4.0; highly recommended for this camera! Thanks for watching 🙏

    • @carlos.sierra
      @carlos.sierra 16 днів тому

      @@topicruben thanks for sharing! The 24-105 is an intriguing lens, but I often shoot in churches which can be really dark, so f/4 is not wide enough for me on the 6K G2. Hence, why I have the Sigma 18-35. I plan to try the Sigma 50-100 f/1.8 really soon!

    • @topicruben
      @topicruben 16 днів тому

      @@carlos.sierra that could be a good solution, but isn’t 50mm to narrow for a church? There are other choices, such as the RF 24-104 f2.8, the canon 24-70 f2.8, also some Sigma are really good, but you will pay much more for that “F f”, lol otherwise you can go with budget cinema lenses, just make sure they’re full-frame

    • @carlos.sierra
      @carlos.sierra 16 днів тому

      @@topicrubenfor me 50mm is not too narrow because I need to be far and out of the way during Mass so I am not distracting. Also, the 24-105 RF f/2.8 would not work since the 6K G2 is an EF mount, not RF. 24-70 f/2.8 is an option though. The Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8 is around the same price as the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8.

    Thanks for sharing! As always, your videos are superb and very valuable to us. When I moved to digital I started with Canon DSLRs for myself with cheap Canon Lenses that were sold in kits, and they were great, while shooting on tented REDs for clients. As they asked me 4k I moved to Lumix GH4 and was bitten by the vintage lenses bug and went out and bought Takumars, Pentax and Tamrons. sadly, I sold everything during the pandemic, bought some computers for postproduction at home, and last year I lost all of that after partnering the wrong person. Now I finally bought a BMPCC 6K G2 and the Rokinon Cine DS 24, 35 and 85 mm. At the moment there’s still not much filming jobs for me but my intention is to buy the entire set (they’re exactly the same as the Samyang) and to buy again a Takumar set, but even more I’d like to put my hands on an old Soviet set, as they work marvelously with the Blackmagic. Your video made me decide I have to go for the remaining Rokinon first, so I gotta get into any gig available. Thanks again and keep on producing these fine videos!

Glad to see this lens working so well! I would want to grab a full frame sigma 24-70 for the cinema cam that I wouldn't need for the g2, which I would use with 18-35 and 50-100, but I think the full frame image looks slightly better in color, contrast etc. Anyway, thanks again and have a great day!

    So any camera is just a tool. I currently shoot on FX6 or BMPCC 6k Pro. The only reason i want to shoot on Komodo is not r3d really, or global shutter. It is IO. Time code, genlock, 3pin fischer, SDI, and a locking mount. I like how Fx6 compresses but would love to have an option of ProRes444. Sometimes macro blocking is killing the image. Also in my case sometimes i need that s35 sensor but BMCC 6k with its retarded EF mount is limiting on lens choice, But with 6k braw you get that nice highlight recovery option. To sum it all in one sentence, Komod is not a solution for every situation but can be rigged to be in any scenario vs other makers who struggle with that,

You don't see this very often these days since youtube filmmakers are now used to put music on all theirs scenes all the time. Did you use any gimbal or was it all handheld? I think that it's warned not to do number 6 when you are old and impotent, is because the sex drive is gone. If you are older, and DO have a powerful drive, you will benefit from the 6th. Practicing the first 5 is to prepare your energy body, to have enough Jing (sexual power)_ to do the 6th, when doing it the way Colonel Bradford recommends. Just updated my 6k. The webcam function with the auto 709 CS is my favorite new feature. Now I can throw the Atem. Having more options to work with the stills would be a welcome feature in the future as the 6K makes a good still camera too.
